Two new project are in the works. I’ll simply speak on the subject one as the other one will give me more to write about early next month.
So this “one” prjoect is as old as iHeart Company, LLC itself. That project is d4ad. I actually have ran it a few times with mixed results, it was then known as I heart Milwaukee. Obviously, the philanthropy and charity aspect is still there, but d4ad opens up doors to a much broader, more effective mission in that it will operate as it’s own entitiy instead of a one-off service I was running myself. That’s right. I am assembling the right people for d4ad to make it a solid part of the community, and hopefully its donations WILL make a difference.
D4AD™ is a non-profit organization designed to connect charities to interested parties willing to have a good time and to give back.
The primary services of D4AD are “Drinks for a Difference” and “Dining for a Difference,” both of which contribute their time and energy to make our communities stronger.
A variety of locations and organizations are involved in D4AD, most of which you can connect to through this website, or on the share tools next to this description online.
Thanks for your interest and hopefully we’ll see you at the next D4AD event which is Dec. 9th 5 – 8 at the Milwaukee Ale House.

It’s said that everyone needs a swift kick in the pants in order to get yourself motivated, up, and running. “Just do it” one shoe company often claims. They have a point. For the last few months, I have been losing a little faith in my ability to manage a successful community. That has been completely restored. I haven’t been focusing on my skills as I’ve been working two jobs, one of which takes up my nights and thoughts as an ever demanding start-up. That’s fine, but during such grind, one loses the ability to see things objectively and from all angles.
Last week iCarried out an interesting experiment regarding community management. Here’s how it goes…

iWas going over some Earth Day events recently and saw that a prominent local website called, OnMilwaukee.com covered our first event! It mentions both iHeart Company, LLC and Greener Milwaukee – two organizatons i’m proud to present to you. See the link here and thanks to Julie Lawerence for bring our good causes to the people! Here is what she writes…
iHeartCompany, LLC was founded in America’s Heartland as a social enterprise. The company operates unlike most corporate entities in that it has and will always operate ethically on three core principals commonly known as the triple bottom line.
