Set a goal and exceed it.

Last week iCarried out an interesting experiment regarding community management. Here’s how it goes…

iFormed a group called, Greener Milwaukee and asked 335 of them to join, Greener Jobs… perhaps 60 did that day. At this point, Greener Jobs is simply a networking group on Linkedin.

So with 60 people, on day 1, iThought, “Well heck let’s see if we can get to 100 by the end of the week.” We did, two days early and exceed my goal in excess of 15 members.

How? Let’s set up a meeting and talk about it – otherwise take this tip… Even when something looks like a long shot – you still have a shot and if you make some luck, you’ll get what you asked for and more.

iHeartCompany, LLC was founded in America’s Heartland as a social enterprise. The company operates unlike most corporate entities in that it has and will always operate ethically on three core principals commonly known as the triple bottom line.

The triple bottom line (”TBL“, “3BL“, or “people, planet, profit“) promotes an expanded spectrum of values and criteria for measuring organizational (and societal) success: economic, ecological and social. In other words, it does right by those values and iHeart brings them together with passion. iHeart promotes this love of company, people, business, earth, and all that is good on it.

In some ways, iHeart is an extension of the best part of my human spirit, my best ideas, thinking and everything iBelieve to be right and truthful in the universe.

While iMyself am not perfect by any means, iThink us humans can create something that lasts as an example and symbol far beyond any individual. iHeart Company is the pursuit of that perfection using a conscious system of sharing. May we open up our hearts and minds to improving everything we touch.

Heart,

Ryan
